Madra

Madra is a town at the southeastern region of Indra. It is where Felix first sees Piers in jail.

Before Felix first enters Madra early in his quest, Madra is raided for food by the Champa pirate Briggs, and the vengeful townsfolk then notice the foreigner Piers as he enters the town to rest and throw him in jail in Briggs’ stead. Felix comes by and notices the frustrated Piers in the jail cell and see that he is a Mercury Adept and probably the owner of the nearby Lemurian Ship at the end of the Dehkan Plateau. Therefore, in hopes of being able to use his ship to continue his own quest, Felix goes on an errand to the neighboring continent of Osenia to get testimony from Briggs that Piers is not one of his men.

However, while Felix is away doing this, Madra is assaulted again overnight, this time by a tribe of wild natives from the lower center of the other neighboring continent, Gondowan: The Kibombo. They take but one thing before retreating back to their settlement: The black orb that Piers uses to commandeer his Lemurian ship. Once Madra receives word that Piers is innocent, Piers is released and he immediately sets out for the Kibombo settlement. Felix returns to find Piers is gone and he decides to follow Piers into Gondowan.
